This website was started as an effort several years ago to provide residents of the Mohawk Valley with a central location to find information about local churches. It received a lot of traffic (and still does) but since I no longer live in the area I have been unable to keep it up to date or develop it further. If you would like to take on this meaningful project, let me know and I'd be more than happy to hand off the baton to you. This website contains information about Christian churches in
the Mohawk Valley, in general, and in Oneida County, in particular.
At last count, there were approximately 200 Christian
churches in Oneida County alone! We want to do what we can
to help build unity within and between Christian churches in our area
and to provide a resource for people who are looking to join a church
community. We
hope that many churches will contribute
information about themselves to this free service.
The operators of this site will
exercise discretion over which churches are listed and what
information is included on the site. Inclusion of churches on this
site, however, should not be considered in any way to be an
endorsement of a particular church or denomination. We will do our
best to ensure the accuracy of the information that is provided, but
please
know that we may (and probably will) make some mistakes.
We
would like to encourage churches across the Mohawk Valley to uphold
each other in
prayer and to seek ways in which they can demonstrate unity with one
another.
